Every day, people ask AI who to choose — and it answers, with or without you. Monitor asks the engines the questions your customers ask, shows you every answer, and tracks how often that answer is you.
When a customer asks ChatGPT for “the best near me”, the answer names two or three businesses. There’s no results page, no ranking to check, no click to count — just an answer, and everyone who wasn’t in it.
Monitor makes that visible. It puts your customers’ real questions to the same models they use, reads every answer that comes back, and tells you — question by question, engine by engine — whether you were named, who was named instead, and what to do about it.
Monitor makes that visible
1
Were you named?
Whether your business showed up in the answer at all.
2
Who got named instead?
The competitors the model reached for when it didn't reach for you.
3
What to do about it
The specific fix that gives you a shot at being named next time.
Citation tracking
Real questions, asked every week.
Each scan puts up to ten questions to the AI engines — the way a customer would actually phrase them, not keywords. Start from our library of curated questions for your category, or write your own. Every answer is checked for your business, and every scan is saved so you can see exactly what was said, when.

Citation Score
One number that tracks getting chosen.
Your Citation Score is simply the share of AI answers that name you: (cited ÷ total queries) × 100. Models rarely answer the same way twice, so we scan on a schedule and follow the trend, not a single snapshot. Scoring 0 on your first scan is normal — it means the models don’t know you yet, and it’s exactly what the fix list exists to change.

Competitors
See who wins the answers you lose.
An AI answer only has room for a few names — every recommendation a competitor gets is one you didn’t. Monitor tracks the competitors you name and auto-detects the ones AI keeps recommending instead of you, so you always know exactly who you’re losing to, and on which questions.

AI Readiness Audit
Find out what’s holding you back — in minutes.
The audit checks how easy your business is for AI to read, across four areas: your technical setup, your content, your authority (does Google’s Knowledge Graph know you exist?), and your reputation. It comes back as an AI Readiness Score with a plain-English list of what to fix — and unlike citations, this score moves in hours, not months.
Four pillars: Infrastructure · Content · Authority · Reputation
Every fix ranked by how much it moves your score

Directory health
Your listings, checked where AI actually looks.
AI learns about most local businesses from directories, not homepages. Monitor checks that your name, address and phone number agree across Apple Maps, Facebook, TripAdvisor and LinkedIn — because a business that contradicts itself is a business AI hesitates to recommend. Licensed professionals get pointers to their state licensing boards too.

Reports
Proof you can put in front of anyone.
Every scan and every audit exports as a clean PDF — for your files, your boss, or your clients. Agencies get white-label reports with their own logo, a monthly digest email per business, and share links for the businesses they manage. No screenshots of dashboards required.

No website?
You’re not locked out. You’re the point.
Plenty of good businesses run on reputation and referrals, not a website — clinics, law firms, trades, restaurants. Pick “No website” when you add your business and Monitor skips every website check instead of failing them.
Your audit focuses on what you do have: your Google Business Profile, your directories, and whether AI knows you exist at all. That’s where AI learns about most local businesses anyway — and it’s often faster to fix than a website would be to build.
How it works
Connected to first answer in about a minute.

3
Work the fix list
Make the changes we hand you — or have our team do it — and watch both scores respond.
For agencies & multi-location teams
Built for one business. Ready for twenty-five.
Monitor is priced per business, not per seat — an agency runs every client from one dashboard, on one bill. Track up to 10 businesses on Agency and 25 on Agency Pro, with white-label PDF reports your clients read under your logo, and a compare view across everything you manage. AI visibility is the report your clients haven’t seen before — from anyone.

Questions
What people ask about Monitor.
Weekly, on every plan — plus a manual rescan whenever you want one (once per day per business, or on credits beyond that). Models rarely answer the same way twice, so the trend across scheduled scans is what matters, and that’s what we track.
